The Copenhagen Airport is located in the town of Kastrup, 8km (5 miles) southeast of Copenhagen city centre. The airport serves as Scandinavia's main airport and is used as a transfer airport for Scandinavia and the rest of the world.
The airport serves about 50,000 passengers per day with 19 million passengers passing through in 2004.

Rail:
Train: There are direct trains to Copenhagen Central Station every 20 minutes and to Malmö (Sweden) every 20 minutes.
Road:
Taxi: Taxis are readily available from ranks at Terminal 3 East and Terminal 1, Halls 3 and 6. Bus: Buses nos. 9, 250S and 500S run from the airport to the city centre and beyond until 2400 daily. Night bus no. 96N runs from Terminal 3 to Rådhuspladsen from 0000 onwards.
Lounge
The SAS Business Lounge, located in terminal 4, is open to all Icelandair Saga Class passengers.
