All Icelandair international flights pass through the hub airport in Iceland where coordination of arrival and departure times creates a transatlantic link between North America and several European countries.

NEW SEATS
Icelandair is now installing new seats and a new in-flight entertainment system in all of the company's Boeing 757 aircraft. The installation is to be completed in 2008.

The new seats are upholstered with leather, and made of new materials. The seats are lighter, stronger and take up less space, giving passengers more room and more comfort.

THE IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
The in-flight entertainment system will give each passenger access to a high-quality touch screen with a broad entertainment selection. Passengers will have access to and can choose from a wide selection of films, TV programs, documentaries, music and games. They will also have access to a program containing an introduction to the Icelandic language and an interactive glossary of useful words and phrases. Some of these services will be free of charge for passengers. In addition to this, the technology enables the passengers to browse through the duty-free selection offered on board. At the same time, the passengers can monitor the flight and get easily accessible information about airports, departures and arrivals.
