Once you have accumulated a sufficient number of Award Points, you can apply for a travel Award or service Award. Members shall order travel Awards from Icelandair's Sales Office with at least one week's notice. Please state that a travel Award is involved when you book. Award Points can be used for friends and relatives.

Children aged 0-2 years need 10% of the full adult points requirement and children aged 2-15 years 50% of the full adult points requirement.

All Awards, flight, hotel and car rental shall be ordered with at least 7 day notice and not more than one year before the date of departure. Ticket is valid for one year from original date of travel and expired tickets cannot be renewed.

Award flights may be taken at any time of year. Seating availability is dependent on supply and demand. It is therefore vital for members to book their flights well in advance. Reservations for travel Awards on scheduled Icelandair flights may be changed after tickets have been issued. A handling charge of either ISK 5,000 or 6,500 Award Points will be made in such cases.

Please Note:
Members must hold a valid card and must have accumulated sufficient points to qualify for the travel or servic Award applied for. Award Points can not be used as part-payment for a flight ticket.
