Combine nature and adventure on the water! Start with a whale watching boat trip from Reykjavik. (Whale sightings not guaranteed but there is a high success rate). After a light lunch on the boat, take a short walk up to the Cintamani Shop on Laugavegur 11. A transfer vehicle will be waiting to take you to the White River for a rafting experience that perfectly balances gorgeous canyon scenery and whitewater action. You will even have the opportunity to practice some cliff jumping! Afterwards relax in the rafting center's sauna and hot tub before returning to Reykjavik.
Rafting level: 2+ (out of 5)
Age limit: 12 years and older.
Bring: Warm sweater or fleece that can get wet, swimsuit, change of clothes, towel, warm clothes for whale watching, waterproof rain gear.
Includes: Round-trip transfers, guided whalewatching and rafting tour, necessary equipment for rafting, lunch, use of hot tub and sauna at the rafting center.
Participants should be in reasonable physical condition.
Minimum of 2 passengers required to guarantee departure. Hotel transfers start at 8:15am.
