The Breidafjordur Fjord nature reserve in Western Iceland is a fantastic area to enjoy Icelandic nature. This island studded bay offers excellent bird and seal watching as well as unique island scenery, volcanic craters, untouched nature and historical sites.

In exchange for giving up private bathrooms for a few nights, you will experience a wilderness adventure, explore less known areas and still enjoy the comfort of a very charming, quality hotel with gourmet cuisine in the evenings. During the day you will enjoy cruises to unique regions. Evenings are spent at Hotel Flatey on Flatey Island. This unique new boutique hotel offers charming accommodations created from converted houses and pack houses overlooking the old market square. Due to the limited water supply on the island, the hotel has shared bathrooms, but the bedrooms and the hotel amenities are of very high standard.

The boat: The tour uses "Brimrun", a catamaran cruise vessel ideal for day trips.
