F.A.Q

How can I apply for a new Frequent Flyer card?

Saga Bonus Cards have four year validity. If points are registered during the fourth year the card is renewed. New cards are not issued. If no transactions are registered during the fourth year and less than 10.000 Award points have been registered into the account the card is outdated and all points depreciate. If 10.000 Award points have been registered into the account the card is renewed.

Members who hold Icelandair co-branded credit cards have their Saga Bonus Club membership automatically renewed.

Saga Silver Club members must earn 30,000 Card Points within a 12 month period for membership to be renewed. If the stipulated number of points have not been earned within the 12 month period, the member will be sent a Saga Bonus card.

Saga Gold Club members must earn 70,000 Card Points within a 12 month period for membership to be renewed. If the stipulated number of points is not earned within that period, the member will be sent a Saga Silver or Saga Bonus card.

Please Note
:
You must present your Saga Card when booking flights trough Icelandair Sales Offices or other travel agents, and when shopping in our inflight Saga Boutique. The same applies when paying for services with the Icelandair co-branded credit cards.

You will receive your permanent membership card after your first points for a flight with Icelandair have been registered to your account.
Until the cardholder receives the new card, copies of all tickets, hotel bills and car hire agreements should be kept. Saga Bonus cards are re-issued for a fee of ISK 500.
