How can I buy flights for my points?
A ticket for Frequent Flyer points is valid for a year. A return flight must be booked. Travel dates may be changed for a fee, or for points. Points can never be refunded after a hotel or car-hire booking has been made. When a hotel or car-hire booking is made, points are deducted from the cardholder’s account.
Icelandair’s destinations have been classified into groups, according to how many points are required for flights, and how many points are credited for each destination.
USA 1: Boston, New York*.
USA 2: Minneapolis, Orlando.
Icelandair's Sales Offices handle all bookings. Please contact your nearest Sales Office or go to our website www.icelandair.net and choose your geographical region.
Choose Customer Clubs, and then click on Frequent Flyer on the left site bar and enter Award Bookings.
When a cardholder has earned enough Frequent Flyer points, he/she can redeem the points for flights or other services. A cardholder may also use Frequent Flyer points for flights for friends or family. For children under 2 years of age, 10% of adult Frequent Flyer points are required, and for children aged 2 to 16, 50% of adult points.
