Quincy, MA, September 27, 2013 – As part of Icelandair’s 2014 enhanced schedule, the largest in the airline’s history, flights from Denver International will increase from 6 flights per week to daily service starting June, 2014. Daily flights from Denver will be offered through September 10, 2014, at which point year round service will continue with up to 6 flights a week.
Icelandair flights depart Denver International at 5:20 pm and arrive the following day in Iceland at 6:35 am with the option to connect to over 20 destinations in Europe. Returning flights from Denver depart Iceland at 4:45pm and arrive in Denver at 6:35pm.
In addition to increasing service in Denver, Icelandair will offer additional capacity with 17 additional flights across the network, including the launch of two new gateways (Edmonton and Vancouver, Canada), and one new destination (Geneva, Switzerland).
Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York (JFK and Newark), Seattle, Denver and Toronto with seasonal service from Washington, D.C., Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando Sanford, Anchorage, Halifax, Edmonton and Vancouver. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to more than 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe.
Only Icelandair allows passengers to stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare.
