Icelandair Takes to the Ice for Charity
Quincy, MA, February 12, 2012 – Icelandair will be holding their Second Annual Last Bostonian Skating event at Kendall Square Community Ice Skating Rink on March 3, 2012. Just as last year’s event, Icelandair will once again sponsor a day of free skating and skate rentals to benefit the Icelandair Special Children Travel Fund and The Children’s Hospital Boston.
The goal of the Annual Last Bostonian Skating is to bring the local community together in a fun and interactive environment while raising money and awareness for two great causes. Proceeds raised will be used to send a child from The Children’s Hospital Boston and his or her family on the trip of a lifetime to Iceland.
Events and performances will be held from 12-3pm at the Kendall Square Community Ice Skating Rink including chances to win a trip to Iceland.
Bring your family and friends to the Kendall Square Community Ice Skating Rink on March 3rd and enjoy free admission and skate rentals while supporting The Special Children Travel Fund and The Children’s Hospital Boston.
