Icelandair Commences Flights from Toronto

Quincy, MA, April 13, 2011 – Icelandair will commence seasonal flights from Toronto tonight with flight #602 departing Pearson International to Keflavik, Iceland. Icelandair has been operating non-stop flights from Toronto to Iceland since 2008 with connecting flights to Europe. 

To celebrate the re-launch of service, Icelandair is offering travellers the opportunity to build the perfect vacation to Iceland. The Build Your Own Budget package includes airfare, 2 nights hotel, and a tour, starting from only $599*. Passengers can add-on additional nights and tours or upgrade to Economy Comfort or Saga Class.

All cabins on Icelandair feature leather seats and in-flight entertainment centres, while Economy Comfort and Saga class offer two-by-two seating, premium meal service, Business Class check-in and lounge access, where available.

This year Icelandair will operate the largest flight schedule in its 74 year history, including more departures from North America and more destinations in Europe. On May 17, 2011 Icelandair will launch new service from Dulles International with non-stop flights from Washington, D.C. and seasonal flights will resume from Halifax on June 2, 2011.
