Icelandair launches the Icelandair Brabazon Challenge supporting the Birmingham Children Hospital
The Icelandair Brabazon Golf Challenge was launched on Friday 29th of May by Andres Jónsson General Manager of Icelandair in UK and Laura Richards from Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity in collaboration with the Belfry Hotel & Resort to raise funds to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The Brabazon is the famous golf course located at the Belfry with innumerable moments in golfing history.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital provides the widest range of children’s health services for young patients from Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond, with over 257,000 patient visits every year.
Laura Richards from Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We are delighted that Icelandair has chosen to support us in this way. Its support will help make a difference to the lives of our brave children and their families as we continue our plans to improve our facilities – enabling us to treat even more children from Birmingham, the West Midlands and around the country.”
All you need to do to enter the challenge is to pick-a-ball, donate a minimum of £5 and play the Brabazon course, it´s that simple!
Those who succeed playing the entire Brabazon course with a single ball will have the opportunity to win a flight for two with Icelandair to North America along with other prizes. The winners will be drawn from a hat filled with names of those who succeeded in the challenge.
Andres Jónsson from Icelandair said “Icelandair is delighted to embark on this partnership with the Belfry Hotel to support the good work of Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital. We started flying from Birmingham International airport earlier this year and we want to take part in supporting the local community.”
