Date changes can be made without a fee or fare difference within 48 hours before the booked flight. New flights must be within 24 hours from the originally booked flight, subject to availability and applicable to Icelandair operated flights only. The flight route must remain the same.
Otherwise, date changes are allowed without a change fee, but fare difference may apply.
If canceled before departure, this fare is refundable. Totally unused ticket is refundable, partly used ticket is recalculated for the flown portion and the residual value, if any will be refunded. Please note that booking fee is non-refundable and a no-show fee may apply.
Cancellation within 24 hours
If you book a ticket through Icelandair's booking channels, you can cancel the ticketed reservation without penalty and receive a refund if the reservation is made more than 2 days prior to the scheduled flight departure and is cancelled within 24 hours after purchasing (Holiday Package bookings included). Please note:
Cancellation of an upgraded fare
If a non-refundable ticket is upgraded to a Saga Premium Flex fare, the terms of the original ticket will apply and the original ticket amount will not be refunded.
Tickets booked before March 11, 2024
No-show ticket is not valid for later use or refund.
Flight legs within the ticket must be used in chronological order. In case of a no-show for any flight without advising our agents in advance, the remaining return and/or onward reservations will be automatically cancelled. Refunds (if applicable) are according to the fare rules.

Changes or cancellations to the ticket must be made before the originally scheduled departure time as otherwise the passenger is considered a no-show.
Saga Premium Flex no-show fee depends on the route booked and is as follows:
Please enter passenger name exactly as it appears in their current passports (i.e., do not use nicknames or abbreviations).
Name changes or ticket transfers (for example, Mary Smith to John Fraser) are not permitted, except for legal name change reasons (such as gender change or name changes due to marriage).
