Flights to Ilulissat
Icelandair has direct flights from Iceland to Greenland. A 3 hour and 15 minute flight from Reykjavik Airport (RKV) takes you to Ilulissat (JAV) – a truly unique reality in West Greenland.
Ilulissat (called Jakobshavn in Danish) has become one of Greenland's biggest tourist destinations, with its awe-inspiring scenery and a dramatic soundtrack of glaciers breaking off into the sea. It's 350km (217 miles) north of the Arctic Circle, at the edge of the Arctic's most productive glacier. Visitors to this beautiful town and its surrounding wilderness will be dazzled by the frozen icefjord oasis known as Disko Bay.
