Day1

Welcome to Iceland! Check in at your hotel in Reykjavik and get comfortable for your stay in Iceland. Take a stroll and explore the charm and allure of Old Town Reykjavik and enjoy the Nordic vibe of the town. There's plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from for a bite to eat.

Day2

Start your holiday by exploring Reykjavik with City Sightseeing tour that allows you to hop on and off at conveniently located bus stops throughout the city, helping you maximise your time discovering all that Iceland's capital has to offer. You might be interested in various attractions like Perlan to visit Wonders of Iceland Exhibition and the Northern Lights Planetarium Show, or Flyover Iceland and Whales of Iceland experiences in the Grandi area. The tour can be joined from any City Sightseeing Stop and the ticket is valid for 24 hours. Daily winter departures (Oct-Apr) from Harpa Concert Hall every 45 minutes between 09:30 - 16:15. 

In the evening, you'll be setting off on your search for the magical and mysterious Northern Lights. The tour takes you to that evening's best viewing location, away from the city lights. Every tour in unique adding to the adventure and your guide will use the most up-to-date weather and solar activity reports to plan the route. Coaches are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Departures range from 9 to 10 pm, depending on the time of year, with pick-ups beginning at 30 minutes prior. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and their appearance cannot be guaranteed.

Please note: If the weather conditions are not favourable and the tour is cancelled, or there are no sightings during the tour, you will be given the option of joining the tour the following evening free of charge (subject to availability)

Day3

Start your day with where your imagination can take you. Pick your own adventure from our wide selection of day tours, from thrilling buggy tours to snowmobiling on Icelandic glazier or whale watching from the city harbour. 

From early evening, you will visit the famous Blue Lagoon for some relaxation. There are separate changing and shower rooms for men and women. They are modern and spacious, with private lockers for your clothes and other belongings. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of geothermal spa experience and a full body shower, without a bathing suit, is absolutely essential prior to entering the spa area. Private shower cubicles are available in both male and female changing rooms. You can stay at the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the Comfort experience for the evening. Return buses to hotels operate frequently and are included in the package.

Day4

Although it's time to bid farewell to Iceland and head home today on your Icelandair flight from Keflavík Airport, we hope you can join us again in the future with Icelandair Holidays!
