Here’s the thing about photography in Iceland: you don’t need to be good at it. You just need to show up. Book your flight to Iceland and let the landscapes do the work.

A couple of weeks ago, Blanche arrived in Iceland with a mission: to prove that even a really bad photographer could capture something extraordinary.
From waterfalls and glaciers to puffins, storms, and more ‘quick photo stops’ than anyone could count, Blanche embraced every challenge Iceland threw her way. She leaves with muddy boots, a full heart, and thousands of photos in her camera roll.
Thanks for the adventure, Blanche! You made it unforgettable.

In April 2026, we invited the public to nominate the worst photographers they knew (including themselves). The response was… generous. 127,642 applications, and a mountain of truly questionable imagery.
After 2,000+ hours of screening and interviews, we found our match: Blanche Montemard from Paris. Then we put Blanche’s (lack of) skills to the test on the road in Iceland.
