Ideally suited to transatlantic routes, the A321LR from Airbus is the newest addition to our fleet.
The first Airbus, named Esja, arrived in December 2024, joined by more A321LR aircraft in winter 2024-25.
In addition, we will add the Airbus A321XLR to the Icelandair fleet in 2029.

Dynjandi is a Westfjords jewel, a tiered waterfall that resembles a bridal veil. It stands 100 meters (328ft) high and 60 meters (19ft) wide at its broadest point, and its name means 'thundering noise'.

Esja is the iconic mountain backdrop of Reykjavík. This 914-meter (2,999ft) landmark is not a single peak, but a volcanic mountain range. It’s popular to hike to the summit for stellar views.
