Economy Flex

Changes are allowed without a change fee but a fare difference may apply. All changes are subject to availability and must be made before departure of the originally scheduled flight.

Totally unused tickets are refundable. For partially used tickets, the refund is calculated as the difference between the fare originally paid and the applicable one-way fare for the flown portion, based on fare availability on the original ticketing date. Any remaining value, after deducting applicable service charges (e.g., booking or no-show fees), will be refunded. Please note that booking fee is non-refundable and a no-show fee may apply.

Cancellation within 24 hours
If you book a ticket through Icelandair's booking channels, you can cancel the ticketed reservation without penalty and receive a refund if the reservation is made more than 2 days prior to the scheduled flight departure and is cancelled within 24 hours after purchasing (Holiday Package bookings included). Please note:

• these conditions do not apply to group bookings of 10 or more.
• splitting the booking between passengers is not an option as the entire booking must be canceled.
• domestic flight tickets in Iceland cannot be refunded if there are less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure at the time of booking.
• the issued refund will exclude the ticketing fee (if applicable).

Cancellation of an upgraded fare
If an Economy Standard fare is upgraded to a Economy Flex fare, the non-refundable terms of the original fare still apply, and only the difference paid for the Economy Flex upgrade can be refunded.

Changes or cancellations to the ticket must be made before the originally scheduled departure time as otherwise the passenger is considered a no-show.

• You may change Economy Flex no-show tickets within 72 hours after the original flight time. This change is subject to a no-show fee, as specified below, in addition to any fare difference that may apply.

• You may cancel Economy Flex no-show tickets. For unused no-show tickets, a refund is issued after subtracting a no-show fee, as detailed below. For partially used no-show tickets, a refund is issued for the difference between the fare paid and the applicable one-way fare of the booked cabin class, minus a no-show fee, also specified below.

Economy Flex no-show fee depends on the route booked and is as follows:

• Flights between Iceland and Europe/North America as well as between Europe and North America: ISK 25000 / EUR 250 / GBP 200 / USD 300 / CAD 300.
• Flights within Iceland: ISK 8000.

Please enter passenger name exactly as it appears in their current passports (i.e., do not use nicknames or abbreviations).

Name changes or ticket transfers (for example, Mary Smith to John Fraser) are not permitted, except for legal name change reasons (such as gender change or name changes due to marriage).

Domestic flights in Iceland:
Children aged 2-11 get a 50% discount on the fare, not including fuel surcharges, taxes, or other fees. Infants under 2 years old without a seat get a 90% discount on the fare, not including fuel surcharges, taxes, or other fees. Infants in a seat get a 50% discount on airfare.

Flights between Iceland and destinations in Europe, North America, Greenland, and also between destinations in North America and Europe:
Children aged 2-11 get a 20% discount on the fare, not including fuel surcharges, taxes, or other fees. Infants under 2 years old without a seat get a 90% discount on the fare, not including fuel surcharges, taxes, or other fees.

Upgrade to Saga Premium for Saga Points is permitted.

Fare downgrade is not available.
