Ascend to the Reykjavik Peak mountain on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) for breathtaking views of Iceland's third most active volcanic system, the Hengill mountain range, and the Hellisheiði geothermal power plant which provides energy throughout the capital. Gorgeous views of Faxaflói bay, the entire capital region, the Bláfjöll mountain range, and the iconic Esja provide a unique experience of seeing Reykjavik from a whole new perspective.
This ATV tour is designed for riders of all abilities with exploration of rugged trails, picturesque routes along Lake Hafravatn, and a variety of terrains.

- Transfers: The tour transfer coach will arrive outside your accommodation (Reykjavík only) beginning 30 minutes prior to the tour’s official start time. Conditions

- Tour duration: Approximately 2.5 hours (1 hour on the ATV)
- Minimum age: Passenger - 6 years old; Driver - 17 years old
- Solo riders: Advertised rate based on 2 passengers sharing an ATV. Solo riders will be charged a supplement during the booking process.
- Weight limit: 530 lbs. (240kg) total weight per ATV, regardless of whether 1 or 2 drivers are riding
- All drivers must be 17+ years old with a valid driver's license. Passengers do not need a license
- All drivers must read the driving terms and condition form and sign a waiver of responsibility & acceptance that they are fully aware of the risks
- Legal guardians must sign for all passengers under 17 years of age
- No refund for unused travel services or land arrangements once a tour starts
- Not included with this tour: Water, lunch and/or other refreshments
- Tour operated by Safari Quads
- Tours departing prior to 12pm are not recommended for passengers with morning arrivals from North America

Insurance
Personal travel insurance is not included and is highly recommended. It can be arranged through Allianz Global Assistance for passengers originating in the United States and Canada.
