Today you venture out on the Golden Circle tour, including a visit to the world-famous Geysir geothermal area with exploding geysers and pools of mud bubble. You’ll visit the breathtaking Gullfoss, the queen of Iceland's waterfalls, and finally, but no less spectacular is a visit to the Þingvellir National Park, the original site of the world’s oldest existing parliament. The Great Atlantic rift is clearly visible in the park, slowly pulling Iceland apart along tectonic plates.
