A new partnership: Icelandair and TAP

At Icelandair, we’re always looking for new ways to deliver more and better travel opportunities to you. This time around, we're delighted to announce a new codeshare agreement between Icelandair and TAP Air Portugal, which brings new connections and easier access to exciting destinations.

Icelandair and TAP sign a codeshare agreement

On October 14, Icelandair and Portuguese airline TAP expanded their long-standing partnership and signed a codeshare agreement at TAP’s offices at Lisbon Airport.

TAP offers an extensive network of 90 destinations around the world, including Europe, Africa, and South America. Among TAP’s destinations are Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto, and Capo Verde. Icelandair’s route network spans around 60 destinations in Europe and North America. Both airlines are known for their Stopover programs, offering passengers the opportunity to experience the airlines’ home countries on their way between destinations, at no additional airfare.

The bilateral codeshare partnership will come into effect in the coming weeks and customers of both airlines will be able to connect between the airlines’ networks in one ticket with their baggage checked all the way to their final destination.
