Bicycles cannot be checked in as part of the included baggage allowance. If you want to bring your bike with you, it can be checked in as sports equipment – as long as it meets the following criteria:

For larger or heavier bicycles, please contact Icelandair Cargo.
Please note, a maximum of 25 bikes are accepted per flight.
Drones can be taken on board as part of your carry-on baggage only, as long as the batteries are approved. The drone must fall under cabin baggage size restrictions.
All spare batteries must be individually protected to prevent short circuits. We recommend packing the batteries in their original retail packaging or by insulating the terminals, i.e. placing tape over exposed terminals, or placing each battery in a plastic bag or protective pouch.
Passengers traveling with a drone should contact Icelandair to supply the make, model and battery information for approval.
Icelandair may refuse to accept an item as checked baggage unless it is properly packed in a suitcase or other suitable container to ensure safe carriage with ordinary care and handling. If a passenger decides to check in baggage that is not properly packed, it is considered to be done at their own risk. Icelandair will not be held liable for any issues arising from lack of proper packing.
Please see here for detailed packing instructions.
If your travel arrangements include more than one airline, other baggage allowances may apply. Extra bags must be purchased at the airport upon check-in (they cannot be purchased online). This may also affect fees applied, and any duty-free purchases that you make on your journey.
