Baggage

The amount of baggage included in your ticket depends on your class of service.

Add baggage

Note that your baggage allowance may differ when you combine international and domestic flights in a single booking.

• If your trip involves an international flight connecting to a domestic flight, on the same ticket - international baggage allowance applies to the whole trip. 
• If your trip involves a flight to/from Greenland connecting to an international or domestic flight, on the same ticket - baggage allowance for flights to/from Greenland applies to your whole trip.
• If your travel includes an connecting flight with other airlines, you'll find more details under traveling with multiple airlines.

Children (2-11 years old)

• Same baggage allowance as adults traveling in the same class.
• In addition, a completely folding stroller is allowed free of charge.
  • Note that if any additional items are packed with the stroller it will be considered excess baggage, and excess baggage policy and fees would apply.
• An approved child seat may be brought on board if the child sits in it during the flight.

Infants (under 2 years old)

• 1 checked bag (except on Economy Light) and no carry-on baggage.
• A stroller and car seat or carrying basket are always included.

Saga Gold & Silver members

• 1 extra checked bag in addition to general baggage allowance.

Traveling with animals

• Animals are never included in baggage allowance. More on animal transportation.

Sports equipment

• Small sports equipment (such as skis and snowboards, hockey equipment, skateboards, diving equipment or bowling balls) may be counted towards the free baggage allowance. See more.
