Through travel we connect people and places, and connections are more important now than ever. We know you have questions, so we’ve prepared a list of answers to help you plan.
We understand these are uncertain times, but we don't want you to stop making travel plans. If you are considering booking a new ticket, we offer you the peace of mind of being able to change your flight at a later date.
If you book your ticket on or before September 30, 2020, with a departure date up to and including September 30, 2021, you have the option to change your dates of travel.
To change your ticket and not incur a change fee, your new travel period must be completed by September 30, 2021.
This policy applies under the following conditions:
Everyone arriving in Iceland must choose between two options: be tested for COVID-19 at Keflavík airport, or go into a 14-day quarantine. Read about the arrival requirements for Iceland on our Iceland is open! FAQ page.
We want to provide extra peace of mind for passengers who might test positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Iceland.
We will rebook all our passengers for their return home, free of charge, if their COVID-19 test at Keflavik airport returns a positive result and after they have served the mandatory self-isolation period.
For more information on official procedures if an airport test returns a positive result, see the covid.is website published by the Icelandic authorities.
Terms and conditions:
Travel restrictions are easing, and Iceland is ready to welcome you with long summer days, quiet hiking trails, and relaxing geothermal pools. Note that passport-holders from the Schengen area and UK are welcome, but we do not yet have a date for North American passport-holders.
Please check our flight schedule for up-to-date information on where we are flying from.
