Terms and Conditions of Icelandair's Group Department for domestic travel
To qualify as a group, 10 or more passengers must travel together.
The quoted price is based on availability at the time of booking, but is subject to change due to:
- Foreign currency fluctuations related to country services, connecting flights, or other purchased services. The exchange rate on the payment date will apply.
- Airfares, airport taxes, service fees, and other charges.
The final passenger list, including national ID numbers, along with the final payment, must be submitted no later than 6 weeks before departure. If the booking is made within that time frame, full payment is required at the time of booking.
All group fares require the group to travel together on the outbound journey. However, return travel may be changed before the ticket is issued, subject to a 5,000 ISK change fee and any fare difference. Changes after ticket issuance are also allowed for a 5,000 ISK fee and any fare difference. Changing the destination after ticket issuance is not permitted. If foreign airlines are included in the booking, changes to the group’s travel arrangements may not always be possible.
No refunds are allowed unless a cancellation fee has been paid and its terms fulfilled.
A confirmation fee of 5,000 ISK per person must be paid at the time of booking.
The confirmation fee is non-refundable and serves as a guarantee of participation. It will be applied toward the ticket price upon issuance but will not be refunded, regardless of cancellation or changes. The confirmation fee cannot be transferred to other passengers or bookings.
Members of Icelandair’s Saga Club will earn Saga Points for flights taken as part of a group trip.
Check-in is required 45 minutes before departure, and passengers must carry valid identification.
The baggage allowance includes one checked bag (23 kg) and one carry-on bag (6 kg).
These terms are in addition to Icelandair’s general transportation terms and apply to transactions with Icelandair’s Group Department where only flights are purchased, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Icelandair reserves the right to change these terms without notice.
Booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of final payment and ticket issuance.
