KALEO live at Þingvellir National Park

Known for their powerful, emotionally charged live performances, KALEO is one of Iceland’s most internationally recognized music acts, with roots that trace back to the country’s vibrant Reykjavík music scene.

KALEO will be joined by some of Iceland’s most celebrated musicians, creating an intimate festival that makes full use of the setting where live music, nature, and history come together. The word Bergmál takes its name from the Icelandic word for echo, a fitting choice for a festival where music resonates across lava fields, cliffs, and open skies. Þingvellir is where Iceland’s parliament, Alþingi, was founded in the year 930, making it one of the oldest parliamentary sites in the world. It is also a unique geographical setting where you can clearly see the rift between the North American and Eurasian continental plates, adding a dramatic natural backdrop to the performances.
