Icelandair's inaugural flight to Dublin
Today, Icelandair launched scheduled flights from Iceland to Dublin, the Irish capital. The new year-round service will operate six times a week.
"With the expansion of our route network in recent years, and in particular the increasing number of destinations in North America, we embraced the opportunity to add Dublin to our service. This new addition will consolidate and strengthen the connecting flight service to and from the USA and Canada, and we expect Dublin to be an increasingly popular destination for Icelanders," says Björgólfur Jóhannsson, CEO of Icelandair.
