I. DESCRIPTION:
Icelandair Saga Club Points Giveaway begins on July 9th and ends when the one-millionth member has signed up to Icelandair Saga Club. The Giveaway is divided into two parts:
1. The person that will sign up to Icelandair Saga Club and become the one-millionth member will win 1,000,000 Saga Points.
2. Ten Saga Club members will win 100,000 Saga Points by participating in the Giveaway by entering their Saga Club number and email address on a registration page.
The sponsor of this Giveaway is Icelandair Saga Club. By participating in the Giveaway, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of each registrations and the overall administration of the Giveaway. Participants should look solely to Sponsor with any questions, comments or problems related to the Giveaway. Sponsor may be contacted through here during the Promotion Period.
II. ELIGIBILITY:
Individuals, 12 years of age or older, are eligible to participate in the Giveaway, that is for both parts of the Giveaway that are stated in the Description. Individuals under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or a legal guardian to become a Saga Club member and participate in the Giveaway.
By participating in the Giveaway, each participant accepts the Conditions for Saga Club Membership.
III. PRIZES:
Grand Prize: The Saga Club member that will sign up and become the one-millionth member will receive 1,000,000 Saga Points.
Other Prizes: Ten Saga Club members that sign up will be selected in a random drawing and win 100,000 Saga Points.
Saga Points cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted by winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
IV. HOW TO ENTER:
If you are not already a Saga Club member: sign up to Icelandair Saga Club for a chance of becoming the one-millionth member and win 1,000,000 Saga Points. When signing up to Icelandair Saga Club you must read and accept Icelandair´s Privacy Policy, which contains detailed information about how Icelandair collects and processes personal data and members will have to chance to opt out of receiving marketing material from Icelandair at any time. You must also read and accept the Conditions for Saga Club Membership.
If you are already are a Saga Club member then you can take part in the Giveaway by entering your Saga Club number and email on the registration link on the page during the Promotional Period for a chance of being one out of ten Saga Club members to win 100,000 Saga Points.
Automated or robotic registrations submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the participant. Any attempt by participant to obtain more than the stated number of registrations by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/giveaways subscription notification and/or entering services, will void participant's registration and that participant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All participants must be registered by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsor's database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Giveaway.
V. WINNER SELECTION:
The member that will receive 1,000,000 Saga Points is the member that will be the one-millionth to sign up to Icelandair Saga Club, the loyalty program of Icelandair.
The Winner(s) of the 100,000 Saga Points Giveaway will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible registrations received throughout the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted after the Promotion Period by Sponsor or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible registrations received.
VI. WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Winner will be notified by email at the email address provided in the sign up or registration form approximately a week after the one-millionth member has signed up to Saga Club and when the random drawing has taken place that same week. Potential Winner must accept a prize by email as directed by Sponsor within a month of notification. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.
Any winner notification not responded to or returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture. The potential prize winner may be asked to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and a Publicity Release (collectively \"the Prize Claim Documents\"). No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor.
VII. PRIVACY:
Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor. By registering in the Giveaway, participants grant the Sponsor permission to use their email address and any other personally identifiable information for the Sponsor’s marketing purpose.
VIII. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of registrations at any point in the operation of this Giveaway; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Giveaway; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to participant's or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Giveaway or download of any materials in the Giveaway.
If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway in whole or in part. In such event, Sponsor shall immediately suspend all drawings and prize awards. Sponsor and Released Parties shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the Giveaway.
