Visiting Iceland

Vaccinated or previously infected with COVID? All travelers, regardless of origin, are welcome to visit Iceland if they can show either a certificate of full vaccination, or a certificate of previous COVID infection. From July 27, all travelers must present a negative COVID-19 test result when boarding a flight to Iceland, no older than 72 hours. Read more about travel and certificate requirements.

Not vaccinated, and not with antibodies? Travelers from EEA/EFTA countries are welcome, together with a growing list of other countries, including the US and Canada. For those permitted to visit, there are testing and quarantine requirements upon arrival in Iceland.
