Keflavík International Airport (KEF) is the main airport for Iceland. Icelandair flights to Europe and North American destinations arrive and depart from KEF. Icelandair domestic flights and flights to Greenland use Reykjavík Airport*, a distance of 50km (31 miles) away. Reykjavík Airport is the center for domestic flights in Iceland. The airport is located in Vatnsmyri which is near the center of Reykjavik. Reykjavik Airport is close to Landspitali University Hospital at Hringbraut and serves an important role in ambulance flights in Iceland.
Domestic flights: Passengers should arrive at least 45 minutes before departure.
International flights: Passengers should arrive at least 90 minutes before departure from domestic airports.
Check-in closes 15 minutes before departure for domestic flights.
Gate closes 15 minutes before departure.
There is no lounge at the airport.

Weekends: 08:00 - 18:30
