Icelandair Resumes Seasonal Service from Toronto

Quincy, MA, March 28, 2012 – Today, Icelandair resumes seasonal service from Canada with flight #602 departing Pearson International Airport at 9:10pm. Icelandair offers four flights per week from Toronto, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with service running through November 4, 2012. Service from Toronto will then resume on March 22, 2013. Icelandair’s seasonal flights from Halifax will resume on June 7, 2012 with up to 3 flights per week through October 8, 2012 returning in the spring of 2013.

This year, Icelandair celebrates 75 years of aviation with the largest network in its history, including additional flights to London through recently added Gatwick and daily service to Heathrow. Due to the increased demand from New York, Icelandair will introduce a second evening flight with up to 10 flights per week from JFK through November 5, 2012. Icelandair will also launch service from its newest gateway, Denver International Airport on May 11, 2012.

In addition to Toronto and Halifax, Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, and Denver with seasonal service from Orlando Sanford, Washington, D.C. (resuming March 29, 2012), Minneapolis - St. Paul (resuming May 15, 2012, Toronto and Halifax. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe. Only Icelandair allows passengers to stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare.
