Day 3Go hunting for the northern lights

Now your northern lights city break truly begins. Spend the day at your leisure. Your Northern Lights Hunt tour is booked for late evening and takes you to the best viewing location for that night, as decided by Mother Nature. The northern lights might appear just outside of Reykjavík or perhaps from the middle of a lava field an hour's drive into the countryside. Every tour is unique, which is part of the adventure and your guide will use the most up-to-date weather and solar activity reports to plan your route. Coaches are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Departures range from 9 to 10pm, depending on the time of year, with hotel pick-ups beginning at 30 minutes prior. The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and their appearance cannot be guaranteed.

Please Note: If your tour is canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions, or your tour operates as scheduled without any northern lights sightings, you have the option of joining the tour the following night for free (subject to availability). If your tour is canceled due to weather conditions and you’re unable to reschedule, you may request a full refund for the included northern lights tour only.
