Request a refund

In case you are unable to travel and need to cancel your ticket, you can request a refund for your ticket as late as 7 days prior to departure. 

Eligibility for refund is based on rules specified in the fare you have purchased. You may also be entitled to a refund, if the cancellation is due to: 

  • Schedule change (if more than 2 hours)
  • Medical reasons (if cancellation waiver is purchased from Icelandair)

Note, that for refunds of tickets purchased from a third-party, you must contact the relevant vendor.  Before you request a refund, please make sure to read the rules regarding the refund of cancelled tickets carefully. 

You can not use this form to request refunds for flights that have already departed, or flights that are 7 days or less away.
