Transport from the airport

Most international flights to Germany land in Frankfurt Airport (FRA). The S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 will take you to and from the airport with ease. These fast trains run every 0-15 minutes and cost as little as €4.50 (just over 5 USD). While buses and trams are available, too.

Munich Airport's (MUC) transportation options are also superb, with S-Bahn lines S1 and S8 connecting to the city's central station. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Lufthansa's Airport Bus is also another option.

The S-Bahn S1 runs from Hamburg Airport (HAM) to the city center every 10 minutes and will get you there in just 25 minutes. You may also take the bus.

US tourists with flights to Germany landing at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) or Bergen Airport, Flesland (BGO) can also take the S-Bahn for fast and convenient travel into the center.
